Key Considerations for Your Adventure

Before embarking on your maritime journey with Untamed Waters Andamans, here are a few important things to consider:

Weather Conditions

Remember, when travelling to the Andamans, weather conditions play a crucial role in deciding what’s possible and what’s not. The weather can change at any time and the possibility of cyclones can affect your ability to take boats out to sea. We’ll definitely check weather conditions when advising you on your trip, however, we can’t promise that the weather will play along. 

Season

The ideal time to visit is from late September to May. The off-season also known as the monsoon season in Andamans lasts from June to early September. We wouldn’t recommend travelling during this time. The heavy rainfall, strong winds and possibility of cyclones could affect your trip schedule and activities.

Travel

To reach Havelock Island, you must first travel from one of India’s major cities like Bengaluru, Chennai, Mumbai, or Delhi, to Port Blair. From Port Blair, you will have to travel by government-operated ferry or private ferry to Havelock Island. The ferry ride usually takes about 2-3 hours. Make sure to plan your flight arrival departure times carefully to avoid missing the ferry boats. The last ferry from Port Blair to Havelock leaves at 2pm. All the private ferries from Port Blair to Havelock Island depart from Haddo Jetty in Northern Port Blair. The government ferries depart from Phoenix Bay jetty.

Terms and Conditions Untamed Waters Andamans

By booking with Untamed Waters Andamans, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.

    • The contract is between you and Untamed Waters Andamans ("the Company" or "us").

    • Governed by the laws of India with exclusive jurisdiction in Port Blair, Andaman, and Nicobar Islands.

    • The contract takes effect upon payment of the specified deposit and confirmation by the Company in writing.

    • Special requests must be notified in writing at the time of booking.

    Contract Agreement

    • Deposit Requirement: Bookings are confirmed only after receipt of the specified deposit.

    Booking Confirmation

    • Payment Methods: Draft, electronic transfer, cheque, or money order.

    • Deposit Schedule:

      • Initial deposit: 30% within 10 days.

      • Further deposit: Total 50% within 30 days.

      • Full payment: 60 days prior to departure.

    • Late Bookings: Full payment required if booking made less than 60 days before departure.

    Payment Process

    • 90+ Days Prior: Full deposit refunded minus $100 service fee.

    • 90 to 75 Days Prior: 50% of tour price forfeited, balance refunded minus $100 service fee.

    • < 75 Days Prior: 100% of tour price forfeited.

    • Weather Cancellations: Mutually agreed adverse weather conditions allow trip cancellation. Efforts will be made to reschedule.

    Cancellations (Excludes Single Angler Trips)

    • The Company reserves the right to cancel or change services or prices.

    • Alternate boats will be arranged if ours are unavailable.

    • No liability for costs or loss of enjoyment due to changes.

    Delays & Itinerary Chnages

    • Personal Travel Insurance: Required and must cover flight cancellations, medical expenses, and evacuation costs.

    • Proof of Insurance: Must be provided on request; failure results in cancellation with no refund.

    Insurance

    • Prices based on ground costs and exchange rates; are subject to change.

    • Price changes are payable within 7 days of notification.

    • No obligation to refund if a lower price is later offered.

    Package Prices and Amendments

    • Exclusions: Airfares, visas, extra meals, tackle, personal expenses, emergency evacuation, tips.

    • Inclusions: Boat hire, fuel, major meals, accommodation, airport transfers.

    Exclusions & Inclusions

    • Circumstances beyond the Company's control (natural disasters, war, pandemics, etc.).

    • Mutual agreement sought for rescheduling in such events.

    Force Majeure

    • No liability for personal injury, property damage, or economic loss during tours.

    • Company's primary obligation: Ensuring the boat is seaworthy before the trip.

    Liability

    • Terms and conditions may be amended without notice. The latest version will apply.
